If you have this bug the mod might fix it, I've had varying degrees of success with the mod. Doesn't matter what skin textures you have installed, CBBE, UNPB, etc.
This mod aims to fix the bug that causes NPCs faces to become dark, grey or black. There are dozens of fixes but they only work sometimes and often fail after a bit. It can appear in vanilla Skyrim and vanilla Skyrim SE. Remove preinstalled apps from amazon fire hd 10. It is not as bad, does not appear as often, in Skyrim SE, but it still appears.
